In early April, we had the privilege to meet with the Executive Director, Emily Holland, of Animal Harbor located in Winchester, Tennessee. Animal Harbor is a private nonprofit that serves Franklin County by reducing overpopulation, rehoming abandoned pets, and educating the community through public outreach. Emily shares how Animal Harbor adapts to meet their community's current needs, the significance of the bond between humans and their companion animals, and how Animal Harbor is a resource for humans as much as it is for animals in need.
